My recent stay at Le Valois in Cognac was a pleasant experience overall. The room was impeccably clean with quality linen and towels, providing a comfortable night's sleep. The inclusion of a small fridge, kettle, and tea/coffee facilities was a thoughtful touch, adding convenience to our stay. However, the absence of a mirror over the dressing table was a slight inconvenience for me, as it's a personal preference.The hotel's prime location near the town center was a major highlight, allowing easy access to local attractions and tours. The option to upgrade to a superior room with additional amenities was tempting, although the standard room was more than adequate for our needs.While the lack of certain amenities like a terrace or garden furniture might deter some guests, the value for money at Le Valois is undeniable. The efficient heating, complimentary Wi-Fi, and friendly staff contribute to a pleasant stay without breaking the bank.I would recommend Le Valois to budget-conscious travelers seeking a clean, well-equipped accommodation in the heart of Cognac.
